The Human Resources team at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute has a new opportunity for a Project Manager. The HR Strategic Initiatives Project Manager will support a variety of HR projects, process improvement initiatives, and strategic planning. Reporting to the HR Strategic Initiatives Manager, the Project Manager will oversee small to medium scale initiatives supporting HR???s overall project portfolio.??
This job is partial remote (2 -3 days per week). Remote work may only be performed from the states of MA, RI, or NH. Candidates must have the ability to work from our Boston, MA office for onsite days. Upon completion of the probationary period, a full-time remote location may be considered with the ability to work onsite when project needs require.

Develops and defines project infrastructure (governance, work plans, timelines, resources, milestones, KPI???s etc.).
Develops clear and effective meeting materials, presentations, and project documentation.
Manages deliverables and project execution activities from the initiation phase through post-live support, including needs assessment, build, implementation, analytics, innovation, maintenance, and enhancements.
Identifies and mitigates potential risks and issues.
Leads meetings and manages communication with project teams to ensure milestones are met, stakeholders are informed, teams are aligned, and priorities are clear.
Collaborates and regularly communicates with stakeholders.
Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to inform planning processes.
Fosters an environment of trust, collaboration, and accountability across both project and departmental teams.
Ensures transfer of knowledge and responsibilities to owning operational areas prior to close-out of projects.
Develops process maps/workflows from conducting current state process analysis to developing redesigned processes.
Optimizes or redesigns process flows to meet project requirements.
Maintains and updates all process-related documents.
Develops and maintains a list of ongoing continuous and process improvement projects and track them.
Works with management to define the short and long-term objectives and potential gains.
Works with business managers to identify opportunities for process improvements. Establishes baseline metrics for ???to??? and ???from??? comparison.
Tracks metrics and develops status and data dashboards.
Supports the development and implementation of HR communication plans.
Monitors HR???s project portfolio to identify potential risks and issuess.
Perform all other related duties as required.
Bachelor's degree required; master's degree or healthcare experience preferred
3-5 years??? experience in project management/process improvement required
PMP certification and/or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
Experience working in healthcare or academic environment preferred
