HR Coordinator - Human Resources - Full Time 8 Hour Days (Non-Union)
Working collaboratively with the Supervisor of Leaves of Absence. Communicates with employees regarding their needs for leave and or medical accommodations. Ensures employees are aware of their responsibilities and any documentation and notices required to qualify for a leave. Handles the FMLA/CFRA leave administration process from the initial notice of the need for a leave to the return to work.Â This includes gathering and completing all required paperwork, determining leave eligibility, designating leave as FMLA qualifying, requesting medical certifications as needed, including intermittent leaves.Â Initiates a leave in the HR/Payroll system. Maintains communication with employees on leave to ensure a smooth and timely return to work.Â Relays communication between the employee and
