As an HR Assistant, you will maintain accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of human resource files, records, and documentation, answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, assist with performance management procedures, and provide clerical and administrative support to the department. Additionally, this position will conduct and/or assist with new hire orientation and assist with recruitment processes such as job postings, preparation of application logs, scheduling interviews, reference checks, job offers, and facilitating pre-employment items.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Business Administration, HR Management, Liberal Arts, or other relative field of study or equivalent experience. 2+ years of related administrative and/or human resources work experience; equivalent education/experience considered. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn human resource information system (HRIS), Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and similar computer applications. Knowledge of human resources terminology and practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR Management, Liberal Arts, or other relative field of study or equivalent experience. 3+ years' work experience in a similar position.
