The HR Coordinator will be responsible for providing direct administrative and project support to the HR Business Partner team. This individual will assist the team in the overall development and delivery of human resources programs and services designed to meet the needs of the Institute.
This is a partial remote position which requires onsite work in our Boston, MA office 2 - 3 days per week.??

- Provide administrative and project support to the Director of HR Partnerships & Employee Relations and the team (i.e. calendar management, schedule meetings, prepare and manage agendas for team meetings, etc.)
- Coordinate logistics for compliance efforts such as Department of Labor poster regulations, The Joint Commission (TJC), Office of Federal Contract and Compliance Programs (OFCCP), and the HR Policy Review Committee.
- Oversee the processes and vendor relationships associated with emergency loan process, employment verifications, and division of unemployment claims.
- Assist with special projects including but not limited to documenting internal processes and managing exit interview data review and analysis.
- Provide ongoing support and coordination to the team to ensure timely completion of projects and deliverables.
- Prepare termination and severance packets and coordinate termination logistics as needed.
- In collaboration with the Benefits and Well-being team, coordinate distribution of service awards to staff across the Institute.
- Update, manage, and re-design the team???s DFCI Online Intranet site as needed.
- Act as Tier 1 support for BP team; respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance as needed.
- Draft correspondence using the appropriate templates including but not limited to employment related letters.
- Track appropriate data and metrics for team deliverables.
- Act as team lead for projects (based on fluctuating business needs) in collaboration with others across the Institute to complete assignments in a timely and effective manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor???s degree in human resources or related field preferred.
- 3 years of professional human resources and/or professional administrative experience; preferably within healthcare.
- Experience with calendar management preferred.
- Experience working with employee relations and/or compliance related functions preferred.
- Experience managing small projects and familiarity with data analysis preferred.
Additional Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Some knowledge of??federal, state and local employment laws in employee related practices including FLSA, FMLA, HIPAA, EEO, ADA, and other related compliance areas.
- Strong knowledge of human resources operations and best practices.
