Job DescriptionThe Senior Human Resources Assistant supports the AuxiliaryServices HR team in a wide variety of areas, including recruiting (i.e.students, Dining Temp pool, etc) onboarding, recordkeeping, training, andmaintaining HR information systems (HRIS); providing administrative support forthe team, including maintaining the HR cycle of events calendar, developingcorrespondence, coordinating meeting logistics, preparing reports,creating/maintaining employee files, scheduling interviews, conductingmailings, fielding general HR inquiries; working on department projects/initiatives andmanaging information in eRecruit.
RequirementsBachelor'sdegree preferred. Current knowledge of federal laws, rules and regulationsrelated to all Human Resources areas, plus food service personnel managementregulations preferred.
Experience
Atleast two years of work experience in Human Resources, preferably in the foodservice or hospitality industry. Skill and fluency in speaking and writing asecond language, i.e. Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, etc., is an asset.
Occasionalevening or weekend work may be required.
Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $45,450 to $56,800; salary commensurate with relevant experience.
