WORK SCHEDULE: The work schedule will be 14 hours per week.
POSITION EFFECTIVE: The position will remain open until filled.
HOURLY RATE OF PAY: $34.60 per hour. No benefits.

Working closely with the Director of Human Resources, Assistant Director of Human Resources and Benefits Administrator, the P/T Program Specialist (WCC)-HR will develop and implement projects for the Human Resources Dept. as well as perform human resources administrative tasks. The incumbent:
Conducts trainings, workshops, etc. on HR processes, policies, procedures, and practices for existing and new employees;
Manages the logistics of trainings, workshops, seminars, etc. that include but are not limited to professional development, new employee orientations & training, etc.
Performs administrative tasks to ensure the effectiveness of the benefits program;
Oversees the project that will automate HR documents (i.e. internal forms, new hire paperwork, orientation packages, etc.);
Uses computer applications or other automated systems in performing work assignments;
All other duties, as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor's Degree and two years of experience in the field of education, educational administration, recruitment and/or training, or in the analysis of program operations, marketing or customer services required. Computer proficiency is required (Microsoft Office Suite). Strong written, organizational, communication and employee engagement skills are a must.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Professional certification in Human Resources is a plus (e.g. SHRM, HRCI). Human Resources experience strongly preferred. Higher education experience is also preferred. Experience with a variety of classroom training methods and familiarity with on the job training processes are a plus
