The Flint Public Library (the Library) seeks nominations and applications for the position of Director of Finance and Human Resources. Founded by the Ladies Library Association in 1851, the Library was created as a “free public Library for the citizens of Flint” during a time when most libraries were only open to fee-paying members. As part of the public library movement funded by Andrew Carnegie in the early 20th century, the Library received a grant in 1905 to build a new library on the corner of Kearsley and Wallenberg.
