The Department of Management in the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business at the University of Missouri (MU) invites Organization Behavior (OB) or Human Resource Management (HRM) applicants to apply for up to two faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high quality, active research stream in OB or HRM. This is not a remote work position.
Minimum Qualifications:
ABD candidates within one year of completing their Ph.D. degree(s) at the time of appointment.
Candidates will be evaluated on:
Demonstrated or potential for high quality, active research stream in OB/HRM; a record of good to excellent teaching; commitment to diversity and inclusion. A Ph.D. in business administration from an AACSB accredited business school with a specialty or emphasis in OB or HRM; or a completed doctoral dissertation no later than the time of appointment.
Key skills sought include expertise in leading-edge OB or HRM research, proven undergraduate and graduate-level teaching ability. Collaborative work with faculty and doctoral students and collegiality in service roles is also expected. We desire candidates who will help us achieve our goal to become a top 20 management department in terms of research excellence and instructional program innovation with a focus on OB/HRM.
