Job Summary:
The HR Business Partner reports to the HRIS Manager and provides technical and functional support for the Human Capital Management (HCM) software solutions such as the College’s ERP, applicant tracking and onboarding, interactive electronic forms, website maintenance, report writing, and SharePoint site maintenance. The incumbent possesses a high level of analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
The incumbent will work closely with the HRIS Manager, Human Resources, and collaboratively with Information Technology staff to support and participate in the development, testing and maintenance of Human Resource systems related to enterprise systems to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations. This position will assist with continuous quality improvement through issue research and resolution, analysis of software modifications, business process review and mapping, requirements documentation, and general technical assistance. Under the direction of the HRIS Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for configuring systems to deliver identified business requirements and resolving technical issues affecting business practices, while ensuring solutions are technologically feasible, enforceable, and balancing conflicting and/or multiple priorities. The incumbent assures that any and all changes or modifications to assigned systems are fully documented, thoroughly tested, and approved before going into production.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated relevant work experience with information management systems.
Demonstrated experience in information technology, human resources, payroll or other heavily regulated industry.
Demonstrated experience working in data analysis or report writing.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience.
Experience with Banner HR System or other Human Capital Management operating system, relational databases preferred.
Knowledge of Ellucian Banner Human Resources and Cornerstone OnDemand or similar HCM and talent management systems preferred.
Experience with reporting software such as Argos, Cognos, Crystal, and Tableau.
Demonstrated project coordination experience in a fast-paced, changing environment preferred.
