About This Internship
Arch’s 10-week summer internship program offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands on experience in the insurance industry. It provides challenging learning experiences that serve as a foundation for interns to explore their career choices and to develop professional skills. Working alongside some of the most talented members of the specialty insurance industry, interns will gain relevant expertise in various aspects of the field, participate in learning activities and receive ongoing feedback.
About This Role
Contribute to projects within the following areas: Learning & Development, Leadership Development, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and Professional Skills.
Support Arch Insurance Leadership Development Programs targeted toward leaders of the organization, and business units that require customized approach.
Conduct research and analysis across topics, such as industry trends, evolving technologies, and best practices.
Assist in learning metrics, data gathering, data analysis and insight development to drive decision-making of key business units.
Assist in communications, campaigns and outreach efforts for learning initiatives to Business Units leaders and teams.
Qualifications
Actively completing area of study in Learning, Human Resources, Organizational & Behavior, Management, Leadership, or related program.
Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher.
College level – current Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Graduate student.
Strong preference for experience in designing and teaching curriculum in classroom, volunteer, or professional settings.
Proficiency in using data to identify program successes or opportunities and make strategic decisions.
Skill in analyzing and manipulating data related to learning metrics.
Entrepreneurial spirit along with the desire to be a continuous learner.
Team player who collaborates effectively.
Self-starter who can work independently and deal effectively with multiple tasks/priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Location & Work Arrangement
The program dates are June 2 - August 8, 2025.
This position is classified as a hybrid position. You will work 2 days onsite and 3 days from home.
This position is in New York, NY or Jersey City, NJ.
Timeline

Pay
For individuals assigned to or hired to work in New York, NY and Jersey City, NJ the hourly rate is $22-30 as of the time of posting. The breadth in the range exists to accommodate students in specialized programs such as actuarial candidates and graduate students. Any actual rate offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, along with the education & qualifications of the candidate. The above range may be modified in the future. Intern position is eligible for select Arch benefits.
