Position Description: The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Information Technology Services organization is seeking an experienced Communications Analyst with exceptional commitment to service excellence to join the Human Resources Information Technology Systems Optimization program. As a Communications Analyst, you will be an integral member of our Organizational Change Management team. You will collaborate with diverse and talented people throughout our enterprise to inform, engage groups across the university.
As a member of the Human Resources-Information Technology Systems Optimization (HRITSO) Program team, the Communications Analyst will be responsible for the creation and distribution of various communication deliverables required for efficient stakeholder engagement, training and effective information delivery for the HRITSO program.
The Communications Analyst will contribute to the planning and creation of communications strategies, develop consistent messaging tailored to the needs of the audience and delivery modality; collaborate with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to craft engaging communications that inform, educate and invigorate interest and participation in the HRITSO program.
General responsibilities include: development and creation of a communications program to support the awareness, adoption and understanding the programs or systems; engaging with program leaders to build a consensus around program vision, mission and scope; drive and build a tactical communications and engagement strategy and plan aimed at supporting development and deployment activities; adapting communications programs and campaigns to build awareness among target audiences; development and delivery of engaging and compelling project communications using print, web, email, social media, presentations, and support executive speaking engagements, as assigned. Additional responsibilities may include the development of plans for training and capability development regarding new system and associated business processes. May be required to work after-hours as needed to meet the needs of our organization and customers.
Special Instructions: This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that includes regular visits to campus as needed (for those who work remotely, travel/lodging expenses are not eligible for reimbursement). -- This position is a contract-appointed position which includes standard university health and wellness benefits; anticipated duration of the position is one year
The full range is provided; however, actual salary offers will take into account the wide range of department and candidate experience factors. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position.
