Manages complex technology solutions and is able to evaluate and recommend technology solutions based upon University and Human Resource needs and capabilities. Responsible for managing and maintaining learning management system (LMS) for DePaul employees. Utilizes knowledge of learning theory and adult learning principles to create engaging and effective online learning experiences and resources. Creates and maintains HR technology tools for the university community. Maintains and updates HR website. Assists in system maintenance and implementation of performance management processes for all staff.
What You'll Do:
Manages and maintains DePaul LMS to serve as a centralized learning portal for all employees. Collaborates with Workplace Learning and Performance team as well as learning administrators from across the university to upload, manage and distribute content, create and manage learning communities, initiatives, specializations and track course progress and completion. Assist learners with learning completion, troubleshoot problems, create and run reports and implement updates as needed.
Collaborates with WLP team and university-wide subject matter experts to design, develop and maintain eLearning courses and instructional multimedia objects to support learning needs of DePaul employees. Works collaboratively with colleagues to structure content, recommend platforms and deliver experience within project work plan and timeline.
Manages technical HR customer support tools (ex. Whatfix, ServiceNow). Works with subject matter experts to create and manage content, troubleshoot issues and maintains tools to ensure a smooth experience for customers.
Partners with HR functional areas to maintain HR website. Updates content as needed and reviews usage analytics to recommend areas for improvement and implement solutions.
Partners with leaders in Human Resources on technical projects, such as compiling data for dashboards and analytics and evaluating technological solutions and partners.
Supports online performance management process (ePerformance) as functional expert. Work with WLP team to set up and maintain ePerformance process each year. Provide functional and technical support.
Assigns and monitors tasks for student assistants and graduate interns.
What You'll Need:
Bachelors degree in Training, Instructional Design, Educational Technology or related field; Master's degree preferred.
1-3 years of experience with Learning Management or Course Management Systems
3-5 years experience with authoring software, (i.e. Articulate, Canva,Captivate, etc.)
Video/Audio production and editing skills preferred, (i.e. Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Audition)
Oracle experience preferred
Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
Strong project and process management skills; ability to solve problems or recommend solutions.
Willingness to work with collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
Strong service orientation.
Strong skills in creative problem solving and learning agility.
Broad knowledge of learning and development practices.

Oversight of full cycle project management of on line training experience: needs analysis, design, development, delivery and evaluation. Responsible for projects to be complete on time, within budget and within specifications.
