We are currently looking to fill two (2) Human Resources Business Partner positions at Minneapolis College. The HR Business Partner will work directly with supervisors, faculty and staff within the designated division of the college on recruitment and staffing, classification and compensation and employee and labor relations functions on campus.
The position will provide subject mater expertise on functions including but not limited to; faculty assignments, compensation, collective bargaining agreement and faculty workload management platform. The position functions independently within the parameters of the position description and may be eligible for partial telework per Minneapolis College's Telework Guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
Professional level human resources experience in functional areas such as talent acquisition, compensation,classification, employee relations, labor relations, and / or training and development; or an equivalent combination of education and experience suitable for this position.
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Knowledge of employment law such as FMLA, FLSA, ADA, EEO and collective bargaining agreements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate effectively and professional, with sensitivity, and discretion
Excellent process facilitation and project management skills
Proficient computer skills and working experience with Microsoft Office applications
Demonstrate an ongoing understanding of cultural fluency, incorporate culturally responsive practices,andactively engage in antiracism professional development learning opportunities
