Albright College is seeking applications for Human Resources Employee Development Specialist. The Human Resources Employee Development Specialist designs, develops, directs and provides direct instruction to employees. The employee development program is designed to promote the mission, vision, values and strategic plan of the College. The Human Resources Employee Development Specialist is responsible for providing relevant, enriching and impactful training for all levels of employees. The Specialist recruits, manages, and inspires subject matter experts to provide high quality training and development opportunities. Essential Job Functions:
The Human Resources Employee Development Specialist:
Delivers organizational development services and solutions for strategic initiatives to ensure that leaders and team members are aligned on foundational elements such as the mission, values, behaviors, and how they can best work together to achieve desired results.
Creates leadership, supervisor, team building and employee development programs using innovative experiential learning, blended learning and development methods, and Organizational Development assessments / methodologies.
Recruits, manages, and inspires subject matter experts to provide high quality training and development opportunities. Continuously monitors and solicits feedback on all programs and materials to ensure accuracy, relevance, and effectiveness. Provides program feedback and recommends program enhancements.
Create and maintain a consistent and compelling onboarding program, orienting new employees to the values and culture, as well as promoting professional relationships amongst colleagues and increasing workplace engagement.
Provides overall leadership and employee coaching relative to learning and development concepts, practices, and applications.
Assigns all employee related training through the Vector Solutions software. Provides reports and tracking data for non-compliance and past due notifications to employees.
Other essential job functions:
Attends trainings, professional organizations, and programming to keep skills current;
Maintains open communication channels to foster a harmonious working environment.

QUALIFICATIONS / PREREQUISITES
COMMUNICATION
Ability to effectively communicate with various constituents of the College, faculty, staff, supervisors, management, students and co-workers using strong and understandable language skills verbally, in reading, written work and comprehension;
Communication must be professional, consistent with College values, mission and culture;
Must be able to read, speak, write, and fully communicate in English.
SKILLS
Proven process improvement and project management skills;
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret directives and instructions;
Ability to acquire working knowledge of College policies and procedures;
Ability to perform simple and complex mathematical calculations;
Ability to respond professionally to inquiries from faculty, staff, management, students, vendors, and consultants in a timely manner;
Ability to work honestly and with integrity;
Ability to work with the highest level of confidentiality;
Advanced computer skills including MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point), internet, e-mail, word processing, etc.;
Advanced personnel database skills and experience;
Ability to represent the department and College professionally.
2 to 4 years of training or direct instruction experience required.
2+ years of experience working in Higher Education desirable.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in related field required; or, equivalent combination of related work experience and education.
