Position Description: We are seeking an experienced HR Director with outstanding people skills to manage our personnel and ensure that our human resources programs and initiatives are effective, efficient, and aligned with our overall school objectives. Duties of the HR Director include providing expertise and support for all human resource functions, including benefits administration, payroll, recruiting/talent management, onboarding and retention, implementing and communicating HR policies and best practices, and aligning HR programs to foster an inclusive, equitable, and productive work culture. The position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations, and exceptional organizational skills. The candidate will have demonstrated success in all aspects of human resources, to include a practice of collaboration, strategic thinking, and problem-solving, guided by thoughtfulness and compassion. The candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field and at least 3 years of progressive human resource experience. Strong computer skills and experience with HRIS/payroll software are required. Professional human resources certification is preferred.
