Job Description Summary:
The Department of Management at Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri, is recruiting adjunct faculty to teach human resources graduate courses at our San Antonio Metro campus. Our faculty provide high-quality, high impact learning and support students as they work toward their educational goals. We provide a collaborative learning environment and value real-world experience as this is highly valued by our students in order to gain expertise and valuable skills applicable to their future as well as current careers.
Essential Duties:
Adjunct faculty are assigned and teach one to three courses per semester on-site on a need basis. Graduate level courses typically meet one evening per week for nine weeks from 5:30pm-9:30pm.
Part Time (<30 hrs./wk.)
Location: Webster Groves Campus-WEBG
Minimum Qualifications Must live in the San Antonio area.
Qualifications include a Masters in Human Resources Management, or an MBA with a Human Resources concentration, or a Ph.D. in Human Resources from an accredited higher educational institution and three or more years of HR experience at an appropriate level of responsibility in the organization. Experience with Canvas learning management software is a plus. Applicants must live in the San Antonio area.
Preferred Qualifications Must live in the San Antonio area.
Terminal degree and professional experience related to human resources management. Experience teaching at the graduate level, holding one or more professional HR certifications (HRCI PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP), and experience with a learning management system.
