The salary range for this position is $130,000 to $160,000. In addition to this salary, an extremely competitive and generous benefits package is also offered which includes paid benefits for employee and family.

The Birmingham Community Charter High School (Charter) is seeking a Human Resources Director.
Under the supervision of the Principal/Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Human Resources Director serves as an executive leader who leads and administers the Birmingham Community Charter High School’s (Charter) personnel system including classified and certificated employees and programs; assures compliance with applicable Charter rules and policies, state and federal laws, and codes and regulations; serves on the Charter’s negotiating team for certificated and classified bargaining; supervises and evaluates the performance of assigned personnel; assists in the administration of the employee health and welfare programs and risk management; and performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
The successful certificated candidate will have:
Valid California Administrative Services Credential
Master’s degree or above in educational administration, human resources, or related field from an accredited institution
At least three years of successful public school or charter school management experience as a coordinator, supervisor, or administrator at a school site, preferably secondary, or district level
The Charter also invites classified candidates to apply
Any combination equivalent to:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources administration, public administration, or related field from an accredited institution
Master’s degree in human resources, public administration, or related field preferred
Five years of personnel experience, including two years experience in a management or supervisory capacity at a public school or charter school
