What You'll Do
Working in a highly collaborative Talent Acquisition team, the Talent Acquisition Specialist provides full lifecycle recruitment for a dedicated portfolio and supports recruitment by sourcing, identifying, and screening top talent whilst guiding hiring managers and candidates through the recruitment process.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist:
Works with HR Business Partners and hiring managers to understand client departments’ objectives and ensure the timely identification and selection of qualified, high-quality talent to fill position vacancies
Develops and executes customized and tactical sourcing strategies aimed at generating candidate flow, while ensuring that all initiatives reflect Tufts commitment to diversity
Reviews and assesses resumes and credentials in relation to position requirements
Prescreens candidates and presents detailed summaries to hiring managers and other stakeholders
Manages all administrative duties in the recruitment process, including applicant tracking system updates, initiating reference checks and background check process
Utilizes contemporary recruiting and sourcing tools such as job boards, social media, resume databases and search engines to identify active and passive candidates
Provides frequent status updates, information and analyses to hiring managers and other stakeholders
Ensures positive candidate relationship management experiences throughout the hiring process
Extends job offers with wage and salary to potential candidates
Participates in HR projects and continuous improvements to evolve recruiting function
What We're Looking For
Basic Requirements:
Knowledge and skills typically acquired through an Associate's degree and 3-5 years' experience
A passion for recruiting/sourcing and a deep curiosity about people
Solid understanding and demonstrable knowledge of principles and procedures for staff recruitment, selection, compensation and benefits, and personnel information systems
Demonstrable, hands-on experience using contemporary recruiting and sourcing tools such as job boards, social media, resume databases and search engines to identify active and passive candidates
The ability to multi-task and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders with varied needs and timelines
Broad knowledge of sourcing tools, posting placement, markets, social media, and other active methods of reaching candidates, to reach the widest, most diverse pool of candidates
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with diversity recruiting and outreach initiatives
Strong knowledge of labor markets, recruiting practices as well as basic employment guidelines
Ability to partner and influence stakeholders to drive hiring goals and program outcomes
Proficiency with ATS system(s), LinkedIn Recruiter and other related platforms
Pay Range
Minimum $62,200.00, Midpoint $77,750.00, Maximum $93,300.00
Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
