Salary Details:
Annual $1,100 Master's Stipend. In addition to the salary, a benefits package of $19,637.88 or cash in lieu of $9,6500.

Under the direction of the Superintendent the Director of Human Resources is to assist in the management of the District’s Human Resources through directing district human resource programs and services; providing advice and information to others; achieving defined objectives by planning, evaluating, developing, implementing and maintaining services in compliance with established guidelines. The Director of Human Resources is responsible for developing, interpreting, managing and reviewing personnel policies and procedures. Conducts negotiations with all employee organizations. The Director of Human Resources is also responsible for effectively coordinating a collaborative process between management and employees which develops working conditions and compensations that maintains an efficient and effective workforce. Performs other administrative tasks as assigned by the Superintendent.
Education: A four-year degree from an accredited college or university. Post baccalaureate degree preferred. Valid California teacher license/certificate/authorization and an appropriate California administrative services credential.
Experience: Minimum of three years of successful experience as a school site administrator. Minimum of three of successful experience as a teacher required.
Knowledge: A basic understanding of the activities and development of an elementary/secondary classroom and have the ability to work closely with children and adults.
Ability to: Must have the ability to speak, read, and write in English in a job related setting. Bilingual skills which benefit the district, may be desired. Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, teachers, students, parents and general public. Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardizations exists.
