The Senior HR Partner serves as primary point of contact with client groups from the C-suite to hourly staff, and partners with specialized HR functions to implement programs and activities related to the following areas:
Compliance, Policy and Employee Relations: Ensures compliance oversight and consistent application; coordinates implementation of disciplinary actions; partners with functional areas and legal to develop RIFs decisions.
Organization Structure: Works with facility leadership to align human resourceswith the goals for the organization.
Organizational Development: Identifies knowledge gaps and requirements; defines learning objectives; leads succession planning efforts; executes leadership development programs; partners with business leaders for organizational development, assessment and training.
Compensation: Partners with functional area leaders to implement the Performance Management process. Consults on substantive job changes as a result of job evaluation; supports/coaches leaders on compensation issues and changes.
Benefits: Supports HR function in conducting group presentations. Workforce Planning: Interfaces with managers to identify future staffing requirements and gaps/overlaps
Talent Management: Coaches/counsels leaders on staffing issues and implements deployment/redeployment activities. Provides ongoing communications and input regarding workforce planning, talent management, succession planning and planned attrition.
Education/Qualification:
Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related discipline and at least 5 years of Human Resources experience in employee relations; or an equivalent combination of training and experience related to the duties of the position.
Requires demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations governing employment practices including Title VII, FMLA, ADA, ADEA, etc.
Strongly prefer PHR certification.
