The HR Excellence Specialist provides training and support to all employees in response to Workday inquiries. The Specialist is an expert who provides assistance to users in all areas of transaction processing, building capabilities and helping users become more skilled and self-sufficient.
Responsibilities:
1) Answer phone calls and resolve ServiceNow tickets: Review, research and resolve tickets on assigned Workday topics in ServiceNow from end users. Maintain a log of routine issues/questions that will provide trends to the HR Excellence Supervisor. These will be reviewed with the Knowledge Manager to aid in identifying and addressing knowledge gaps. The HR Excellent Specialists will regularly audit and analyze Workday data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
2) Review and approve appropriate operational business processes in Workday.
Review and load EIB files into Workday (Student hires, Auto term process, Hires, Additional payments). Manage I-9 reporting.
3) Provide Workday training to all end users (local HR, Managers, and Employees).
The HR Excellence Specialists will train, and coach all end users, to include new local HR personnel and other HR colleagues, on Workday processes. Training may be conducted in a group setting or one-on-one.
4) Participate in special projects.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of HRIT/HR processes, programs and Workday in order to provide Tier 1 level support. High level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail, and ability to complete tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to explain processes and policies in a clear, concise manner while coaching users. Able to audit and analyze Workday data to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Knowledge and skills required for this position are normally acquired through the completion of an Associate's degree or equivalent with one or more years of relevant work. Bachelor's degree preferred.
