Who you are
As an integral member of the North America People Services team, you will provide dedicated Human Resources expertise to the US Northwest/North Central Brokerage region. You will be a strategic partner and contribute to the development of the business lines goals and programs as it relates its people strategy.
You will work collaboratively with the Colliers brokerage leadership team and People Services to identify strategic HR priorities, develop, implement, and deliver HR programs in support of business goals. Additionally, you will work with business line leaders to develop and deploy engagement strategies, organizational capability strategies and champion critical change issues.
What you bring
Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related.
5+ years of Human Resources experience with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant Human Resources experience in a Sr. HR Business Partner capacity.
Strong knowledge of US employment laws, regulations, standards, programs, and best practices is required.
Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment, while maintaining high degrees of detail orientation, process flow and compliance with company policies/procedures.
Experience working within a matrixed environment with multiple locations.
Demonstrate a good balance of strategy and execution.
Ability to form strong business relationships with both leaders and employees to establish credibility and amplify partnership.
Ability to deal with ambiguity and demonstrate good judgment/problem solving in resolving issues.
Strong skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
Strong communication and presentation skills will be crucial and used in regional all-hands meetings.

What success looks like
Establish collaborative partnerships and influence with business leaders across the organization on key people results (hiring, retention, engagement, DE&I, etc).
Partner strategically with the Regional President, NWNC Brokerage / Regional Finance Director to drive and deliver regional people strategies and goals.
Facilitate resolution of Human Resources issues in a timely manner and thrive in periods of intense activity.
Coach and direct leaders on performance management, employee relations, terminations, and conflict resolution.
Lead sophisticated and high-risk employment related matters and liaises with People Services Leadership and legal counsel when necessary.
Develop, recommend, implement, and interpret company policies and procedures.
Work within the business service line to understand training needs and develop initiatives ensuring a direct link to the business strategy.
Drive employee engagement through survey deployment, focus group meetings, action planning and manager training and development. Provide analysis on year-to-year data trends in employee engagement to move the business forward towards engagement goals.
Drive annual succession planning programs across the region, working closely with the Regional President to create and implement succession and development plans for leadership.
Own the annual bonus/merit cycles across the region, working in close partnership with regional leadership and extended People Services team members to ensure smooth and timely execution of programs.
Work closely with extended People Services team members (Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation, HRSolutions, etc.) to ensure proactive and effective strategies to attract, retain and empower top talent.

Approximate Salary Range for this Role: $72,653.00 to $150,228.00
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
