This position reports to the Director of Finance and collaborates closely with the Accounting Manager and Controller to maintain accuracy in payroll, medical accounts, and retirement. The director, along with the Human Resources Associate, administers human resources policies, programs, and practices such as employment, labor relations, benefits, and employee services in a professional, accurate, and timely manner. Together they work closely to ensure that the benefits program maximizes benefits while minimizing expenses.
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resources Management (Master’s preferred) Minimum of 5 years experience in the Human Resources field Previous experience preparing and submitting payroll Experience with self-insurance (preferred)
Able to work with minimum supervision Able to multi-task Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Docs Ability to write reports, business correspondence Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, parents, faculty/staff, and the general public. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
