Advertised Job Summary:
This position reports to the to the Chief Operating Officer and serves as the Human Resources Senior Manager for Facilities Services, Facilities Planning, Design and Construction, Parking and Transportation, and Postal Services. This position provides oversight in all aspects of the Human Resources activities and works closely with the Director of Facilities Administration and Finance, the AVPs of Facilities, the Director of Parking and Transportation, and the Director of Postal Services. The incumbent is required to exercise independent judgement and has discretion in performance of duties.
Counsels leadership & management on complex HR situations. Coordinates with multiple departments within central HR to resolve cross-functional challenges including Employee Relations, Class/Comp, OIS, Benefits and Talent Acquisition. Listens to employee concerns and engages leadership towards resolution. Coordinates with EOP as needed. Provides guidance on HR procedures and interprets HR related policies for division leadership.
Coordinates strategic initiatives such as organizational changes, succession planning, rewards and recognition programs and identifying professional development opportunities to improve employee engagement. Tracks, reports and analyzes Key Performance indicators & trends to inform management decisions. Facilitates meetings and management training.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree and 5 years experience in human resources management programs.
