Job Description:
At Regions, the Human Resources Fulfillment Leave and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Supervisor directs the work of a team administering leaves of absences, compliance with the ADA process, and miscellaneous benefits processes when necessary. This individual will oversee the administration of the Adoption Assistance Program.
Primary Responsibilities
Coaches, develops, and trains a team of Leave of Absence Specialists and Accommodation and Disability Analysts, as well as monitors key performance metrics
Oversees compliance and monitoring of state and/or local orders
Monitors performance of associates to ensure service level standards are met and that the overall work output is effective
Manages the relationship with Legal and the Office of Associate Conduct (OAC) to deliver the ADA interactive process required for purposes of determining and providing reasonable accommodations
Oversees approval, provisioning, monitoring, and the return of all accommodations equipment
Functions as the internal program manager for the Adoption Assistance Program, and other applicable programs
Develops and maintains written and technical operating procedures
Creates and implements and/or streamlines processes and manual and automated tools for Leave of Absence
Ensures quarterly audits are performed and all control functions related to Risk Management are fulfilled
Represents Regions when needed during unemployment hearings
Serves as liaison for external vendors, monitoring performance and negotiating contracts when necessary
Partners with the Total Rewards Benefits team to conduct annual benefits portal review and updates
Supports Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP's) and Associate Relations Business Partners (ARBP's) in navigating complex leave and accommodation cases
Partners with technology teams on necessary systems and tools upgrades
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of experience in ADA, Human Resources Compliance, Leave of Absence, or related field
Or High School Diploma or GED and ten (10) years of experience in ADA, Human Resources Compliance, Leave of Absence, or related field
Two (2) years of supervisory/management experience
Preferences
Advanced degree related to ADA, Human Resources Compliance, Leave of Absence, or related field
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification
Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (e.g. Workday)
Project management experience, preferably related to benefits plans
Skills and Competencies
Ability to effectively partner with associates and managers across all levels within the organization
Ability to exercise discretion with highly confidential information
Strong coaching and consulting skills
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of the application of state and federal regulations, including the FMLA and ADA
This role may work remote within a reasonable driving distance to Regions Riverchase, Birmingham, AL

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
