Job Description:
At Regions the Human Resources Call Center Specialist provides centralized human resource services spanning payroll, benefits, relations, compensation, and other transactions. Associates at this level will have working knowledge and skills developed through formal training or work experience.
Primary Responsibilities
Interacts with customers via telephone to answer questions and provide assistance in the completion of human resource transactions
Answers inquiries by clarifying desired information; researching, locating, and providing information
Performs all work in accordance with established call/service center standards
Resolves problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions; implementing solutions; and escalating unresolved problems
Upholds efficiency of service center operations, technology and transaction processes
Maintains and follows standards and procedures for handling employee questions, transactions and administration of human resource programs
This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Three (3) years experience in human resources management, or related
A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related and related internship experience may substitute for the experience requirement
Preferences
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
Strong personal computer (PC) skills
Knowledge of Regions' benefits plans
Experience in Human Resources, preferably in a call service center environment

Interpersonal skills

Problem solving skills
Ability to multi-task in a high volume setting
Knowledge of general human resources practices
Ability to handle high volume of customer calls while maintaining a positive attitude
