Job Description:
At Regions, the Project Administrator independently manages budgets of $499K or less projects, provides support for business segment project teams on cross functional projects, partners with project teams which may include executives and/or managers who are project sponsors in supporting the initiation, planning, execution, control, and closing phases of projects to achieve specific business outcomes. This position conducts business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefits analyses in an effort to align solutions with business initiatives. This position also may prepare functional, system, and program specifications and may function as a liaison between business segments and Technology.
Primary Responsibilities
Demonstrates through application an understanding of the project management process to assigned roles and tasks
Works independently to draft project deliverables
Applies the project management process, tools, and templates
Serves as a support function/resource ensuring all phases of a project is executed according to project plans
Solicits feedback from project sponsors prior to finalizing project related deliverables
Provides project and departmental status reporting
Assists with basic projects
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related degree
Preferences
One (1) year of project management related coursework or experience
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
Project Management Professional (PMP)
Familiarity with SharePoint
Skills and Competencies
Ability to manage time and multiple commitments/projects simultaneously
Excellent written/verbal communication, organizational, and analytical skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
Understanding of project management methodologies and best practices (Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), Informations Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile, etc)
Additional Responsibilities:
Partner with Learning and Development to build and manage strategic education and reskilling programs
Monitor program return on investment and actively assess and align to program objectives
Provide operational support to Talent Management teams in support of various talent segments
Support the launch of new programs and processes within HR Fulfillment in support of COE goals
