Job Title: Accounting & Human Resources Specialist
Job Status: Full-Time, 12 Months
Department: Business Office
Reports to: Director of Finance & Human Resources
The primary responsibility of the Accounting & Human Resources Specialist is to ensure the day-to-day business office tasks are accurate and completed in a timely manner. This position will collaborate with both the Accounting Specialist as well as the Human Resources Specialist to ensure there is proper cross training in all areas of the Business Office.
2+ years administrative experience, preferably in Human Resources
2+ years bookkeeping experience including Quickbooks experience
Equivalent combination of education and work experience which demonstrate the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the above described essential job functions
Skills and Abilities
Excellent skills in communicating both orally and in written form
Able to work both independently and in a team setting
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Suite
Ability to learn new computer software systems
High level of attention to detail
Ability to 10-key with speed and accuracy
Commitment to loving and serving Jesus Christ
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
Positive, flexible, resourceful and solution-oriented
Maintain confidentiality in all conversations
Must be active in a local Christian body of believers or at least pursuing community with other Christ-followers

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
Required to use the computer throughout the day
Work will be performed from the campus
Will move throughout the campus during the day
May occasionally have to lift up to 20-pounds
Work is generally performed, Year-Round, Monday-Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
This position will occasionally require you to work nights, weekends and overnights (for Fall retreat and Spring service week). As much advance notice as possible will be provided.

Pay Grid: Specialist III
Pay Grid Range: $64,668 to $99,975
This position is paid based on a preset salary grid, and the actual salary will be determined by applicable education and experience as determined by the Human Resources department. The starting pay listed reflects this position's minimum experience and education requirements. The top pay range represents the top of the pay grid for this position. It is rare for a candidate to enter this position at the top of the pay grid. Most candidates can expect to enter in the lower to middle section of the pay grid, depending on experience and education.
