The Project Administrator role, reporting to the SVP, Chief Human Resources & Diversity Officer (CHRO) at Cincinnati Children's, offers a unique opportunity to lead and support the focus on delivery of human resource (HR) and enterprise initiatives, projects and processes that will support our people strategies, achievement of business goals and HR effectiveness. Reporting to the CHRO, the ideal candidate will be responsible for directing, monitoring, and contributing to special/strategic projects, which are highly complex, involve creation and oversight of multifaceted teams within HR and across the enterprise, and support the office of the CHRO and the HR leadership team (CHRO direct reports).
This role will provide highly tactical thinking and support in collaboration with leadership on key institutional initiatives; advise, support, assist, coordinate, and collaborate on special/strategic projects lead by the CHRO. This position will be the primary point of contact for all Human Resources projects and act as an executive liaison to resolve problems and ensure successful implementation of initiatives. In addition to knowledge of human resource practices, this position requires strong communication (written, oral, presentation) and organizational skills, unquestionable integrity, and a strategic mindset with the ability to operationalize plans.
Essential Functions:
Lead projects and initiatives that support Human Resource programs and practices which require researching common issues, data/information collection, analysis and presentation.
Actively engage in projects focused on core Human Resources Operational practices and continuous improvement efforts, with a willingness to experiment with new ideas.
Prepare progress and summary reports. Assist with estimating project costs and preparing budgets.
Partner with CHRO, HR Leadership Team (HRLT), and other executives to solve complex business problems by analyzing issues across a function or division, evaluating alternative solutions and taking action quickly and efficiently.
Participate in improving organizational performance through recommending areas or approaches for improvement activities, performing new procedures, collecting data and providing input to department/division discussions.
Research, prioritize, and follow-up on multiple complex issues and concerns addressed to the leader, including those of a sensitive and/or confidential nature. Determine appropriate course of action, referral, and/or response.
Anticipate needs and potential problems. Assist in logistical and administrative tasks such as written communication, presentation development, and presentation delivery.

Required:
Bachelor's Degree and 7 years progressively responsible related experience (i.e. Human Resources, business management, financial management) including internal and external client facing roles
At least 1-2 years' experience leading teams
Experience functioning as an internal consultant/project lead in large scale projects AND complex work environment, or Director or Manager experience in a clinical area
Preferred:
Master's Degree in business, hospital administration, or related discipline
Operational knowledge of HR policies, processes, practices
Healthcare and/or academic institution experience
PMP certification or project management training
