• Develop, administer, and coordinate departmental training programs and special sessions, collaborating with Central HR where necessary;
• Under the direction of the Facilities HR Director, supports Classification and Compensation efforts for all Facilities employees;
• Manage a departmental succession planning program which includes individual development and training plans;
• Work closely with supervisors and department heads on goal setting and monitoring for employees.
• Oversee the annual evaluation process of department administrative faculty, and classified staff, providing guidance to departments as needed; and
• Other related human resources functions, depending on operational needs.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other relevant field, or equivalent combination of education, training and/or work experience;
• Knowledge of HR principles and practices;
• Demonstrated skill in providing project support;
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite, including Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel;
• Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and tailor communication based on the audience;
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and to make reasonable, logical, and defensible decisions; and
• Must currently possess an appropriate, active, valid motor vehicle operator's license that meets all of GMU's requirements for operating state vehicles.

• English / Spanish bilingual skills (Inglés español habilidades bilingües) highly preferred;and
• Knowledge of higher education software systems such as Banner.
