Under general supervision, perform a variety of duties in support of Human Resource Services in the Compensation unit. Apply established human resource guidelines, rules, policies and procedures to classified, exempt and/or academic staff. Review, develop and maintain accurate records and correspondence. Assist clients, maintain electronic and paper files, produce reports, gather and organize documentation, and coordinate schedules. Maintain and ensure a confidential environment at all times
Three years of office experience including at least six months of experience in a human resource or related setting OR equivalent education/experience.
Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with MS Office Software (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint).
Ability to analyze data and identify discrepancies.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Excellent attention to details skills.
Experience working in Human Resources department.
Experience providing clerical - administrative support to multiple individuals.
Experience with Excel. (pivot tables, power query, complex formulas)
Proven ability to perform a variety of tasks at one time, with frequent interruptions.
