Under supervision, the Employee/Labor Relations Coordinator will assist with maintaining programs focused compliance, employee relations, and policy development and updates. Additionally, the coordinator will plan, coordinate, and carry out general and complex administrative tasks to support the Employee/Labor Relations team. The incumbent of this position will be required to exercise sound judgment, tact, and discretion to perform moderately complex, diverse, and confidential duties in support of the Human Resources department. Minimum Education:â¢High School Diploma or equivalentâ¢Bachelorâs Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or related fieldMinimum Experience/Knowledge:â¢Minimum two (2) years Human Resources experienceâ¢Experience in the health care industry preferredâ¢Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)â¢Proficient verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with all levels of staff.â¢Critical thinking and problem-solving skillsâ¢Highly organized with a close attention to detailâ¢Ability to manage competing, high-priority demands; prioritizing workload, managing projects and multiple responsibilities against strict deadlines.Required License/Certification:â¢LA City Fire and Safety Certification. If no certification upon hire, must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date.
