Major Duties: General summary: Provides daily administration of the University's employment, compensation, benefits, performance management, employee and labor relations and other human resource functions.Major duties:- Ensures the recruitment of a qualified and diverse workforce by counseling hiring agents on employment decisions and processes.- Administers the staff compensation system. Advises supervisors and managers on pay administration and the job evaluation process. Participates in job evaluation committees.- Provides effective counseling to employees on all benefits, including group insurance and leaves of absence. Identifies appropriate options based upon employee group and other status considerations.- Administers the performance management and probation system
