HUMAN RESOURCES (HR) ADMINISTRATOR, Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), to coordinate HR activities such as employee relations, rewards and recognition, onboarding, diversity and inclusion (DEI), recruitment, performance management, and compensation. Will collaborate with the HR manager on interpreting and advising staff on HR issues, policies, and procedures; facilitate the recruitment process by advising hiring managers on advertising, posting, interviewing, and reference checking; schedule interviews, screen resumes, and prepare interview and offer documentation; post and manage jobs on J-PAL's website; act as first point of contact for job posting inquiries; interface with temporary agencies; onboard new employees, including creating contact records, creating web bios, and conducting training; maintain J-PAL staff web bios; manage the J-PAL applicant database, including linking job postings to the database system, answering applicant queries, and managing administrative access; coordinate and send out the monthly jobs newsletter; coordinate the annual recruitment drive, including preparing job descriptions and drafting communication materials; lead the social committee and execute monthly events; assist with the design and administration of J-Stars (recognition program); be an active member of the DEI working group, creating agendas, facilitating meetings, and following up on actions items; facilitate necessary training; and coordinate the communication and administration of the performance management cycle.
Job Requirements REQUIRED: bachelor's degree; two years' HR experience; experience using G-suite; meticulous attention to detail; strong copyediting and proofreading skills; willingness to pitch in as needed; flexible approach to the work environment; discretion with confidential information; and ability to handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously, successfully complete assigned tasks, and meet deadlines.
