Boston Children's Hospital is growing and the Talent Acquisition team is seeking an experienced Sourcing Specialist to support our recruitment service line for a variety of initiatives including the expansion of a brand new, 10 floor clinical building. Partnering with other members of the Talent Acquisition team and key stakeholders, the Sourcing Specialist will build talent pipelines for high-needs areas with a focus on diversifying the workforce. This position is 100% remote.
The Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for:
- Developing, establishing and managing talent pipelines for difficult to fill positions, high turnover roles and future hiring needs including building expansions and diversity initiatives
- Finding and engaging both active and passive candidates through the use of Boolean Search Strategy, LinkedIn, and creative sourcing techniques including social media outreach, professional association networking, employee referrals, career events, etc.
- Working with internal stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies that will help improve time to fill
- Reviewing resumes for credentials for appropriateness of skill, experience, and knowledge of position requirements
- May assist recruiters in conducting initial phone screenings of candidates with an eye toward meeting minimum requirements and assessing interest/affordability
- Participating and planning both on and offsite Career Fair events
- Collaborating with Ad Agencies and Corporate Marketing to create social media content specifically on LinkedIn to help engage passive candidates
- Promoting our Employer Brand online through social and networking platforms and offline through hiring and career events
To qualify, you must have:
- One year of Sourcing or Talent Acquisition/Recruiting experience
- Experience with outreach and networking on social media and professional networking platforms
- Boolean logic experience is preferred. AIRS or similar trainings a plus
- Knowledge of social media channels, and applicant tracking systems for recruiting purposes
- CRM experience is preferred
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously with strong attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft office
