Mountain Parks Electric, Inc. (MPEI) has an immediate job opening for the position of HR Administrative Assistant located at our company headquarters in Granby, CO. MPEI is an electrical cooperative located in Granby in the north central mountains of Colorado.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Demonstrated ability to deal courteously and effectively with the public, ability to maintain confidentiality, and computer skills including word processing/ spread sheet software required. Human resources and/or administrative support experience preferred. Must be able to handle a variety of tasks while maintaining calm and organized while working with a variety of personalities.
This position is responsible for supporting the human resources department at MPEI which includes administrative, board support and human resources duties. The position includes, but is not limited to, supporting the following duties:
Employee appreciation/ recognition, i.e. birthday and anniversary cards, new hire arrangements, arranging retiree parties/ gifts/ cards, years of service awards etc.
Company event and board meeting coordination
Orders office supplies, stocks company kitchens and employee pop fridge
Notary or ability to become one
Board Support Responsibilities
Compiles the board agenda monthly, ensures posting requirements are met, assembles and distributes the board packet
Organizes board policies and tariffs and all board required documentation for compliance purposes
Assists board members as needed
Human Resources Responsibilities
Employee Relations Committee assistance, including 5th Quarter Coordination, MPEI Parades, Holiday Party, etc.
MPEI Website Support
Administrative human resources processing for new, current and former employees
Benefits administration including the Group Insurance plans, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Open Enrollment, Wellness Program, COBRA Auditing, required notices, required employee and plan forms, etc.
Manages human resources electronic document system
Assists with organizational development and training for all employees
Coordinates Internship Program with local high schools, trade schools, line crews, etc.
Job description support and organization
Conducts HR Compliance Audit
Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Compensation Range $19.66-$31.24/ hour depending on experience.
