Serves in a lead HR consultative role at the corporate office and reports directly to the Vice President of HR Strategic Business Services. Has an expansive knowledge of human resources best practices and demonstrates understanding through the effective management of a wide variety of related projects. Supports a diverse client group by partnering with human resource colleagues to create and deliver sound business solutions for anticipated, existing, and new business challenges.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders throughout BSWH to implement business strategy and planning initiatives as determined by the VP HR Strategic Business Services.
Coordinate activities specific to the development of facility and corporate HR Business Partners’ competencies that enhance and align with department’s goals and objectives.
Lead a variety of complex HR projects designed to enhance the overall performance of the HR team.
Identify and use a variety of people metrics to make a business case for HR programs aligned with business goals and to assess HR program performance.
Proactively gain client feedback to aid HR functions in improving service levels and to alert HR areas where an issue/project may have impact on other areas.
Represent HR on a variety of teams, committees, or task teams as designated by the VP HR Strategic Business Services.
Respond to HR issues in a flexible manner and demonstrate the ability to define and implement creative solutions to complex issues.
Identify, design and facilitate employee/management training on HR related topics that support operations objectives.
Actively participate in Affirmative Action Plan program design, policies and procedures including but not limited to: employment, compensation, benefits, and performance management, to achieve continual improvements in meeting established goals.
Serve as a resource to BSWH facilities in the North division to supplement staffing needs due to shortages.
Conduct advanced analysis of exit, engagement, ethics line, and other employee data to build programs, processes, policies, and training to affect organizational change.
Lead specific initiatives such as merger, acquisition, joint venture, and outsourcing activities to ensure people issues are effectively handled and coordinated.
May lead system-wide HR projects under the direct supervision of the VP HR Strategic Business Services.
