The Human Resources (HR) Manager will support the Vice President of Human Resources with planning, directing, and coordinating the strategic goals for the organization. The HR Manager will have a comprehensive knowledge to direct and/or partner with SCL with regard to the HR department including hiring and interviewing staff, employee relations, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices as well as knowledge of employment and labor laws.
As a Manager of Human Resources you need to know how to:
Partner in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy at MSV.
Manage compliance with federal, state and city employment and labor laws.
Manage the annual performance evaluation process, engagement survey, talent management programs, and all HR regulatory compliance for MSV.
Bridge management and associate relations by fully investigating and addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
Responsible for ongoing administrative duties to include maintenance and compliance of associatesâ™ files.
Partner with SCL for communication strategies, policy administration, compliance, benefit administration and payroll.
Partner with HRIS in effective implementation of new technology, platforms, and processes.
Partner with SCL Compensation team in pay grade establishment, providing position evaluation applications for solicited market analyses, and creating new positions.

Bachelorâ™s degree in Human Resources or other related field, required
Masterâ™s degree, preferred
Minimum of seven (7) years HR experience, required
Two or more yearsâ™ experience in an HR management role, highly preferred
