HUMAN RESOURCES REPRESENTATIVE 2 , Chemical Engineering , to perform complex and diverse HR and administrative duties. Will assist with a wide range of HR-related functions to ensure a seamless on- and off-boarding experience for visiting scholars and employees; initiate and process a high volume of HR and payroll transactions; act as a resource to ChemE employees and respond to HR-related questions; collaborate with other central MIT departments; and provide administrative support for assigned search committees; support the visa processing for international scholars; provide administrative support for recruitment, search processes, performance reviews, HR events, projects, etc.; assist with position advertisement and posting processes to ensure vacancies are appropriately advertised and filled; manage temporary payroll processes; generate reports/forms, create personnel files, and update databases; help coordinate and confirm that required forms and/or trainings are completed; help manage the rewards and recognition program; maintain up-to-date HR records; take meeting notes and transcribe contents; compose and edit basic documents; create graphical presentations and reports; support department-wide projects/programs; and perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements REQUIRED : high school diploma or its equivalent; five years' administrative, HR support, office, or related experience; excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills; good judgment and discretion with confidential/sensitive information; and meticulous attention to detail. PREFERRED : associate's/bachelor's degree; strong computer skills and experience using MS Office, BrioQuery, and SAP; and experience with database applications. Job #20394-6
