Provide administrative support to the Vice President of Human Resources, Director of Labor/Employee Relations, AVP Academic Human Resources, and back up other positions within the Human Resource Department. Responsible for creating and maintaining databases pertaining to manuals, contracts, government records and reports, and payroll and attendance records. Manage department budget and accounting policy and procedures. Provide support for all units.
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Two years human resources experience.
Excellent MicroSoft skills.
Strong oral and writing skills.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Detail oriented with the ability to manage deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively with the public, students, faculty, and staff.
Ability to work well with all levels of employees and understand the need for confidentially.
Experience with employment law, compliance issues and working with government agencies.
