Responsible for providing administrative support as part of the Human Resources Shared Services Team. The successful candidate will support all Human Resources functions designed to attract, reward, align and develop talent and provide a welcoming and productive work climate for the Lehigh community. 1. Support the day-to-day Talent Management functions *Respond to routine Talent Management related inquiries *Work with hiring managers and Human Resources (HR) partners to respond to and support all elements of the search process including creating job postings, interview packets, scheduling testing and processing forms *Guide applicants and employees through application, new hire and benefits enrollment processes *Process employment, demographic and benefits data through various HR systems for all salaried employees *Track and maintain records for background checks *Review and process offer letters for compliance and accuracy *Prepare orientation packets, Swag Bag gifts and other materials *Coordinate events such as New Employee Orientation, Benefits Orientation and new employee networking events, etc. *Provide guidance to the campus community on how to utilize the Talent Management System to complete performance reviews, position description edits and schedule training
2. Support the day-to-day Benefits Administration functions *Respond to routine benefits related inquiries *Assist in the delivery of employee benefits services; notifying employees of changes and updating materials *Process data, elections and changes including Health and Welfare Benefits, Retirement Plan, Medical Premium Reimbursement Plan, Tuition and Leave Administration *Administer Tuition Remission, Exchange and Cash Grant Programs *Monitor Taxable Benefits and collaborate with HR partners to report, inform and address *Monitor Family Medical Leave information and short-term disability leaves *Support Open Enrollment activities in partnership with appropriate HR colleagues *Guide employees through retirement and termination processes *Serve as a liaison to insurance carriers and administrative service providers to resolve issues *Coordinate events such as educational programs provided by benefit vendors, individual counseling sessions with financial advisors, etc.
3. Support employee information, finance and accounting functions, information systems and compliance *Enter, maintain and review data in Banner database and other HR systems *Generate reports and maintain databases for various HR functions *Run processes in various systems to update data, retrieve data for export, transfer data between systems and distribute data to other departments *Create and maintain employee and positions files *Administer data and audit processes to maintain data integrity in various systems; validate results of leave accrual and Affordable Care Act processes *Serve as backup to other audit functions such as Payroll audit *Manage billing, invoicing, vendor payments, budget reallocations, arrears processing, reallocations, charge-backs and other financial transactions for various HR functions *Monitor data validity, request corrections and submit work orders for third party data systems
4. Support general HR Office administration *Serve as first point of contact for clients both internal and external *Screen inquiries via phone and electronic communications to route to the most helpful HR partner *Maintain and update web information and other communication materials *Perform administrative tasks such as coordinating meetings, distributing mail, filing, shredding, etc. *Serve as HR Representative on campus committees such as the Holiday Party, Rewards and Recognition, etc. *Respond to requests for employment verification

High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
One to three years related work experience
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and a high level of customer service required
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and have a high degree of initiative for bringing tasks to completion
Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy
Solid writing ability, attention to detail and organizational skills
Solid computer skills with experience using word processing, spreadsheet and database software
Successful completion of standard background checks including but not limited to: social security verification, education verification, national criminal background checks, motor vehicle checks, PATCH, FBI fingerprinting, Child Abuse Clearance and credit history based upon the requirements of the position
