Act as a self-directed health care provider, consultant, and coordinatorof care. Apply the nursing process, assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide advanced nursing patient care for occupational and non-occupational health problems. In this functional role, the nurse practitioner is involved with health promotion and other preventive programs based on workers needs and health hazards. May at times be involved with provision of service at other Boston University programs.
Master's degree required, three to five years of experience preferred.
