Position Summary
The Learning & Development (L&D) Coordinator will work closely with the Senior Manager of L&D providing administrative and project support for the Learning & Development team, assisting with various L&D programs, including Leadership and Professional Development, Digital Learning, and Career Development. The Coordinator will be an integral part of a dynamic, collaborative, and inclusive team and will have the opportunity to contribute to a wide array of team projects and initiatives.
Oversees all of the administrative and logistical work needed to ensure Learning and Development instructor-led and online training programs are implemented successfully.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversees the registration and processes enrollments for all growth programs through Learning Management System (Learn@Work - L@W) for the Learning & Development courses and events. Maintains Administrative Information Systems course information in L@W. Creates and maintains courses, in-person and virtual course sessions, and rosters in L@W, and manages internal charges to participants' departments.
- Administers and coordinates training support and logistics for programs and activities for Learning and Development. Produces training materials used in programs, including pre- and post-work materials, and job aids, participate workbooks, PowerPoint presentations, etc. Creates eLearning modules from prepared training programs. Maintains annual Learning and Development course and events calendar. Coordinates and manages room planning and reservations for internal and external clients. Collaborates with internal and external facilitators/trainers to establish training room needs, including set-up, catering, and technical equipment.Â
- Provides administrative support for the Senior Learning and Development Manager and the entire team. Updates and maintains the Learning and Development Website, monthly newsletter, social media, email distribution lists, responds to inquiries from learners and assists with flyers, announcements, and newsletter to market and communicate L&D programs. Creates and maintain Learning and Development surveys for various programs.
- Serves as a facilitator of New Employee Orientation, Lunch and Learn Sessions, and other basic Learning and Development topics as needed.
- Complies and develops statistical reports for Learning and Development programs and activities. Â
- Assists Learning and Development facilitators during virtual sessions by serving as "producer" responsible for managing attendance, chat, Q&A, breakout rooms, technology, PowerPoint, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions
Ability to set up and break down training rooms, including moving tables and chairs, and setting up equipment to create an inviting learning environment. Physical ability would include being able to lift at least 30 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of related experience.
- Working knowledge of Articulate 360, Storyline 360, Studio 360, Rise 360, Adobe Captivate or Adobe Presenter software to create e-learning programs,
- Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) (SABA, Cornerstone, Workday, etc.) is highly desired.Â
- Experience with Workday and SABA is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Zoom, Microsoft Office Teams, and Qualtrics.Â
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Effective customer service skills due to heavy interaction with participants, trainers, and vendors.
- Demonstrated abilities for being detail-oriented, process-focused and an effective multi-tasker.
- Effective skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Strong interpersonal skills; be able to perform in a team environment, collaborate with others, handle multiple projects, be flexible with change, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work dependently and/or independently, under pressure, meet deadlines, and adjust work schedules as needed to complete job responsibilities.
- Ability to skillfully facilitate New Employee Orientation and other assigned L&D sessions.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree with two to three years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Web maintenance skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.Â

Salary Range
$19.56 - $30.35 / Hourly
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
