University Human Resources is recruiting for a part-time (.50 FTE), 12-month, academic wage-hourly position. This position is anticipated to last for 6-12 months.
This position will be responsible for supporting employee compliance with the University COVID Vaccination Program, including the attestation/declination requirements and weekly testing requirements for employees who decline. The position will review confidential compliance records, send pre-drafted communications to individual employees who have not yet complied, and escalate cases of non-compliance for resolution.
This position is a limited duration (6-12 months) at 0.50 FTE (approximately 20 hours/week), with the potential opportunity for additional hours based on business need. Reports to the Associate Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs & Assistant Vice President for Employee and Labor Relations.
The defined qualifications will need to be identified in the Minimum/Required Qualifications field.
Bachelor's degree or two years of experience providing administrative support and working with sensitive data/information in a confidential environment.
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally through email, in person and via telephone.
Ability to handle ambiguity and adapt to changing rules, regulations, and policies.
Ability to appropriately identify when to consult/escalate to manager or other ELR staff.
Highly proficient with current office software, such as MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
Demonstrated strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Demonstrated commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity.
This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a criminal history check and be determined to be position qualified as per OSU Standard 576-055-0000 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in youth programs may have additional criminal history checks every 24 months.
This position will work within an office environment.
This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods moving around office environment and the campus.
