My client an exciting media and events business is looking to add to the HR team with an HR Business Partner. The role reports into the HR Director and will be responsible for a number of tasks.
The role would suit someone who is looking to take their next step up from Officer/Associate level and gain broad experience in a busy and international business.
Main tasks and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Provide advice and support to to employees and management on all things HR.
Provide advice, support and guidance to managers on employee-related issues.
Be responsible for the HR systems and Applicant Tracking System.
Manage the payroll function for the UK and overseas offices.
Manage global mobility queries including visas etc
Preparing and maintaining staff handbooks.
Provide support to the business around recruitment and sourcing
Manage new hires
Contribute to the special projects both globally and within the UK.
Champion well being in the workplace by identifying and partnering with external well being/occupational health providers,
Develop and maintain company policies
Any other ad hoc HR tasks
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Strong level of generalist HR experience, preferably within a similar role
Sound knowledge of employment law and best practice
Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with all levels
Strong systems experience preferably with Workday and MS office
