Bullis School is seeking an organized, experienced, and detailed Human Resources Compliance Manager. The Human Resources (HR) Compliance Manager is responsible for the regulatory compliance of all applicable federal and state laws, rules, and regulations as they relate to employment and human resources. This positions manages workplace compliance by overseeing workplace investigations, policy creation and interpretation, performance management, medical accommodations, leave (FMLA/disability, ADA) requests, and other workplace projects impacting the employee experience.
The HR Compliance Manager works with directly with the Dean of Faculty to develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process. The HR Manager also oversees on-boarding/off-boarding for new staff, ensuring adherence to all federal, state, and local employment laws. This is a 12-month position reporting directly to the Director of Finance and Operations.

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related fields or the equivalent education and experience
Commitment to using professional role to further the creation of an equitable and inclusive school community
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Must be able to exchange accurate information in a professional manner with parents, students, faculty, staff and other professionals
Five to seven years of relevant experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
Master’s in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related fields preferred
