Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, plans, organizes and directs a comprehensive human resources program including the recruitment, selection, evaluation, classification of all employees, wage and salary administration, employee relations, collective bargaining, substitute management, health benefits, worker’s compensation; and performs such other related duties as may be assigned. Administers all procedures and policies relative to both the classified and certificated personnel programs of the District in conformity with the requirements of appropriate Federal and State laws including the California Education Code and local Board policy.
