The Director, Benefits, Compensation & HR Systems is responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the management of compensation and benefits programs and HR systems. Works closely with the Director, HR & Organizational Development. Manages Manager, HR Operations, Benefits Specialist, Receptionist and Courier positions.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Provides strategic and operational direction for the compensation and benefits programs.
Designs, implements, and manages salary classification and compensation programs.
Analyzes appropriate surveys for benchmarking compensation and benefits programs.
Works closely with the Benefits consultant to ensure that benefit programs are competitive, cost efficient, and support attracting highly-qualified candidates and retention of current staff.
Works with Finance to forecast benefits and compensation costs.
Ensures that compensation programs are supportive of Diversity, Equity and Inclusiveness.
Maintains compliance to federal, state and local reporting requirements; including but not limited to, FLSA, Equal Pay Act, DOL, Wage & Hour, ERISA, COBRA, HIPPA, FMLA, and IRS regulations as related to benefits and compensation.
Manages and implements the Affirmative Action Plan.
Responsible for overseeing the administration of the retirement programs including the closed pension plan.
Oversees management and updating of overall HR policies, procedures and work instructions.
Serves as the HIPPA Privacy Official.
Participates in the procurement process for benefits-related purchases.
Leads design, direction and implementation of best practice wellness program for employees.
Oversees, plans, coordinates and executes training and development opportunities for staff.
Manages front desk office administration – receptionist and courier positions.
Maintains regular and on-time attendance.
Follows all safety regulations.

Performs other duties as assigned by the Vice President, Administration.
Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (Required)
Group Benefits and Retirement Plans Associate Designation (Preferred)
4-7 years managing a Human Resources function (required)
