The UTK Human Resources Office provides services to more than 5,000 regular faculty and staff, as well as temporary and student employees. Administrative Support * Receives and directs calls for the human resources offices * Monitors and responds to departmental email * Ensures supply levels are adequate * Provides basic information regarding job application status and troubleshooting assistance with the job application including assistance resetting passwords and unlocking accounts * Assists visitors with applying for jobs * Collects and assists with new hire paperwork for employees * Monitors I-9 appointment scheduling and calendar * Provides support for New Employee Welcome * Process and log background checks * Enters data into background check database
Temporary Help Pool Support * Enter time for employees into HRIS system, and follows up with departments where timesheets are outstanding * Enter billing information into electronic systems once payroll has been processed * Compiles data into spreadsheets
