A combination of education, experience and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered. Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties: Provide entry-level support for a variety of departmental functions in assigned area within Human Resources. Primary Responsibilities (Staff Positions Only): Performs work requiring the application of broad standards, general instructions, or practices to frequently changing situations and issues within Human Resources. Assists in the performance of tasks related to the operations of Human Resources in one or more of the following areas: talent acquisition and staffing, employee training and development, insurance and retirement benefits, records, and wage and salary administration. May assist management with special projects, research, coordinating and monitoring inventory, and various other functions. Supervisor determines work priorities, evaluates work in progress, and ensures the meeting of deadlines. Performs other related duties as assigned.
